Go into the disneyland resort?
Hi, I am full of questions, but namely...since if we go, we are going to be hanging around our hotel for a night before our days at disneyland, do you have to have use a ticket to get into the Disneyland hotel/resort?
I might just go and see whats going on there if it doesn't take a ticket to get in. Thanks for the help. |

You can walk through the main esplanade (the area between Disneyland and DCA) and straight into Downtown Disney. You can visit Downtown Disney and all of the hotels without paying admission.

I usually spend the first night at Disneyland without entering the park. A sort of calm before the storm! But it is a hard temptation to not run straight for the park!
The Downtown Disney area is pretty fun to stroll through, eat, people watch and lots more. The resort hotels have some nice shops and places to eat of course. And I can't forget that there are many other fun things to do at the resort hotels too. The best of all may be the pools!
