Blue Bayou was ALWAYS my favorite. But the JAZZ KITCHEN in Downtown Disney has kinda replaced it.

I'm heading to Disneyland for nine days this February. I plan on eating at each and every restaurant. Including the Japanese Restaurant at Paradise Pier, and Napa Rose.

When were you planning on going? I'll be doing a trip report in March.

We are going for 7 days starting March 11th. I can't wait to hear about your trip! BTW, Blue Bayou is going to be closed when we are there along with Pirates! Darn!

What are your usual places you eat at? This way I can suggest some good new places you might want to try out.

Re: What are your favorite....

Hmmm... I am like you... I tend to go to the same places over and over again!

Have you tried Story Tellers in the GCH? Me and my family go there a lot... They have some corn chowder that I can eat EVERY DAY.

In the DTD area we like Tortilla Jo's pickup window for cheaper/quicker and still very yummy Tex/Mex food. Every now and then I will throw my kids a curve ball and we have dinner at Haagen Dazs or Jamba Juice! Me and my wife like to get coffee/tea/mochas at Compass Books Cafe.

I am sad about POTC and Blue Bayou being down... I may go in March with my father on our way to the NASCAR race in Vegas and once again in April with my wife and kids on a spring break trek to America's Southwest... No matter what, I will miss my favorite restaurant in the whole world!

We were thinking about story tellers, we did go to Tortilla Jo's last time, it was really good. We ate dinner at the ice cream place on Main street once, it was so yummy!

Re: What are your favorite....

Just eat churros

I missed this thread somehow.
I love the Carnation rest on Mainstreet.
River Belle Terrace for PANCAKES in the am, just get there early or you'll have a big wait.
I like to sit by the water at the Hungry Bear for lunch--just burgers and a good bbq chicken salad.

In DCA have a blue cheese burger at Taste Pilot's Grill.

I have always wanted to try Hook's Pointe at DLH. Have you ever been there?

Have you seen this site with DL menu's?

Dole Whips are my absolute favorite! I'm going through withdrawls! I had at least one every day I was there in December!

I also love the chicken and beef skewers at Bengal BBQ and they are pretty cheap. I've also heard that the bacon wrapped asparagas is great, sadly I didn't get a chance to try it!

We had breakfast at La Brea Bakery almost every day. If you get there a while before the park opens there usually isn't a line and breakfast is great. I had the full breakfast a couple times and pastries other days. I was happy each day. Club Buzz also has cheap breakfast. My boyfriend got it there one day and spent between $6-7 for it. He got a good sized portion of eggs, bacon and potatoes plus a muffin and OJ. Great price!

I also have to have at least one meal at the Hungry Bear every time! I love the burgers and crispy chicken burgers. They are so yummy!

At DCA, I loved the Sicilian and chili dogs at Award Weiners and Corn Dog Castle is quite good too. Those are pretty much the only things I ate there. Except Pizza Oom Mow Mow. I liked my BBQ chicken pizza, but my boyfriend didn't like the canadian bacon and pineapple!

Hope that helps a bit! :)
