I'm so glad they are doing this. I just wonder why it took so long. Almost everywhere in socal has banned smoking (at least in public areas).

Its funny how times change and viewpoints with them, remember Walt was a smoker, my parents were heavy smokers too, when i was a kid it seemed almost all adult smoked, i bet that even though smoking is bad for you that fast food kills more people than smoking, i guess seeing someone shove a big mac or jumbo jack in there mouth and then shove in frys and a soda is better than a cig hanging on there lip, i took a health class in school and had to watch alot of video's on how unhealthy americans hearts and blood system were by the time they were 18 and 19, pretty sad stuff really.

I grew up in a home that was filled with clouds of smoke... Both mom and dad puffed and puffed!

I knew that I did not want to be like them and have that habit!

Now I sometimes have a hard time when someone is smoking near me when I am outside in the fresh air... Things sure have changed!

Haha! Me to! I remember I would have a bad cold, I'd be coughing and choking and all the adults would be smoking inside with all of the windows closed! I still know people who smoke, but I don't know anyone who smokes inside their house.

yeah, it's so good that hardly anyone smokes inside their houses anymore.
and I'm SO glad it's been outlawed to smoke in restaurants now!
