Yay! I did it!

Well, I've arranged all the plane tickets and am looking for the cheapest acceptable accomodations within Disneyland walking distance.

Because we're going to Disneyland!

I'm going with my friend on the 23rd, and then DH is coming to join me and spend the 24th and 25th with me at the Happiest Place on Earth! Yay!

Made a reservation for afternoon dessert at the Blue Bayou, and for a meal at Cafe Orleans. I'm soooooo happy, and DH is thrilled. Ever since last May I've said that I really, really want to watch the Remember fireworks with him, and we're going to get to do that.

We'll call this celebrating our 11th anniversary... just a couple of days early.

If you're looking for the cheapest accommodations within walking distance, may I suggest the Red Roof Inn Anaheim Maingate? DH and I have stayed there on several occasions and we like it. The rooms are big, bright and clean, and they have a nice pool & spa. Nothing fancy but they are within about an 8-10 minute walking distance and the rooms run about $50-$65 a night depending on when you go.

I second dznygrl's recommendation. We stayed there in May and were very pleased. The walk was a very comfortable one.
