Mousketrips Questions for Disneyland Resort Trip

Hi, I think I am safe in saying that Mickey either runs are is affiliated with Mousetrips. So, I think I would like his help for our first Disneyland trip for 2005. This is more of questions to make sure you are who I want to use, rather than actual trip planning material. :D

1. Do members of DisneyCentral get any special benefits or breaks on trips?

2. Do you plan for more activities than just Disneyland? We would like to spend time at Disneyland, but want to see San Diego and LA as well. (Legoland, Universal, Knott's Berry)

3. Do we need to stay at a Disneyland Hotel the whole time in order to book through you guys?

Thanks for any additional info as well. Feel free to PM or email me too. I just thought these questons could benefit others as well.

How soon is too soon to start planning?

If Mousketrips cannot help with all the outside things, can anyone recommend a some suggestions of do's and don'ts in that area of CA?

While I would prefer that questions about Mouseketrips be sent to Mouseketrips, these may indeed help other here considering a trip to Disneyland.

Not at the present moment, though that could change in the future. During our grand opening, we did offer a refund to DC members, and we may do something like that in the future, though I am not sure about it.

I can help you plan those, no problem. I grew up goign to Southern California, and still go once a year with my family, and visit all the sites.

No, at Disneyland, Disney has three hotels (Disneyland Hotel, Grand Californian and Paradise Pier) and there are about fifty good neighbor resorts around Disneyland, as well as ten or twelve in San Diego that we can book. And no, if you stay at DL for five days, and then head off to where ever, that is no problem.

For 2005, you can start planning now, but room rates won't be released for probably 14 months or so. No reason that you can't start planning other items. The nice thing about Disneyland is that they release their discounts for the entire year in advance, so you will know ahead of time exactly what discounts you will get, and what the prices will be.

As far as hints, don't miss the San Diego Zoo, Lego Land if you have little kids or Six Flags Magic Mountain if you have big kids. There are so many things to do, as well as great beaches, great restaurants, shopping and other attractions that you will have your hands full. My one suggestion is that if you can fly into the Orange County Airport, your trip will be much better.

And yes, I own and operate Mouseketrips.

Thanks, and I totally understand the point about keeping Mousketrips outside of this site, but like you said, I felt these were kinda general questions that could benefit all. I appreciate your responses, and you will be hearing from me again in the future. ;)
