magic mornings for dlr guests?

I was just wondering how you find out when the magic mornings are if you are staying on property? I am not seeing it on the Disneyland website. We are staying at GC from 6/3-6/6 and I am trying to plan our days. Thanks for any info you might have!

Re: magic mornings for dlr guests?

Hi there! I know you get the Magic Mornings when you buy some park hoppers & when you stay on-site. I found this on LaughingPlace.com Home , I believe the Magic Mornings schedule has changed recently. This was posted on 2/12/2008:

New Magic Morning days at Disneyland

As of a couple weeks ago the new Magic Morning days for Disneyland are Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. On these days parts of Fantasyland and Tomorrowland will be open early at Disneyland for Disney resort guests and certain other hotels guests

Re: magic mornings for dlr guests?

I found more information for you from Allearsnet.com

Magic Morning (formerly "Early Entry") at Disneyland is quite a bit different than the "Extra Magic Hours" feature at Walt Disney World that many people are familiar with. It is offered only at Disneyland Park, and not at Disney's California Adventure.

Rather than being limited to Disney resort guests only, Magic Morning is available to those who have an admission ticket which includes the "Magic Morning" feature. Magic Morning is included with 3- 4- and 5- day park hoppers that are purchased from the Disneyland web site, and also with certain travel packages. Guests do not necessarily have to stay at the Disney resorts - a number of local "Good Neighbor" hotels are also included. The feature can only be used on one day.

At this point in time (subject to change without notice) guests at any of the Disney resorts (Disneyland Hotel, Disney's Grand Californian, or Paradise Pier) may take advantage of Magic Morning any day that it is offered during their stay. They must show their resort id at the gate.

Magic Morning is generally offered every Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. It allows guests to enter Fantasyland and Tomorrowland one hour before park opening. The following attractions are usually available (subject to change without notice):

Alice in Wonderland
Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters
Dumbo the Flying Elephant
Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage
King Arthur Carrousel
Mad Tea Party
Matterhorn Bobsleds
Mr. Toad's Wild Ride
Monorail
Peter Pan's Flight
Pinocchio's Daring Journey
Snow White's Scary Adventures
Space Mountain
During the Magic Morning hour some shops and restaurants on Main Street will also be open.

"Mickey's Toontown Morning Madness - Interactive Guest & Character Experience" is another "extra" type of feature that is offered. Unlike Magic Morning, this feature is only available to guests with certain WDTC (Walt Disney Travel Company) travel packages.

Guests can use this feature on one day of their visit to enter Toontown an hour early. (Toontown typically opens at least one hour after the rest of Disneyland opens.) During this hour there's a Toontown Citizenship ceremony led by Mayor Mickey Mouse, and there's lots of characters around to greet guests, sign autographs, or show off their respective homes. This feature is available Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.

It IS possible to attend "Magic Morning" and "Mickey's Toontown Morning Madness" on the same day, since Magic Morning begins an hour BEFORE the park opens and Mickey's Toontown Morning Madness begins WHEN the park opens.

Re: magic mornings for dlr guests?

Thanks for all the info on that! I didn't post too much about planning, except that we are staying at DCA on our DVC points, and were pretty bummed that fantasmic will not be going on while we are there because we wanted to do the dessert package. It is our first time to Disneyland, although we've been to WDW tons of times. We were actually planning our itinerary last night, which is where the early morning questions came in. We are planning on doing dinner at Napa Rose, and brunch at Goofy's Kitchen, and lunch at the Blue Bayou. The rest of our meals will probably just be quick service or more "on the fly".
