From the other thread here, it looks like when the website says they're for snacks and meals that some are exclusively for snacks and other for meals as they have different dollar limits and restaurants which honor them??

We DON'T eat snacks. Breakfsat, lunch and dinner. But that's it. And not two huge meals for lunch & dinner (unless skipping breakfast!). So some days only just two meals.

The Disney website is absolutely USELESS in trying to figure out if these would help us or not! It just says you get "8" or "10" or whatever vouchers for meals or snacks. But WHAT does that mean???

E.g.
three $10 snack vouchers
two $30 meal vouchers
one $45 meal voucher
etc. etc.???

I don't want to be ladden with a bunch of vouchers only good for counter service stuff and nothing good for the most expensive restaurants. Is there someplace that explains this better??

I'm afraid I haven't had a chance to memorize Birnbaum yet, so I'm not familar with the restaruant names. But we're looking for something to help w/ lunch and dinners all at the "$$" or "$$$" places in Birnbaum parlance.

Amneris, I am not sure if you are asking about the Q&C vouchers mentioned in other threads or if you are referring to a piece of one of Disney's Dreammaker packages: "Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack per person, per night at more than 125 participating Walt Disney World® restaurants plus room service and the world-class Victoria & Albert's Restaurant (includes applicable gratuities, excludes alcoholic beverages)"

I am not at all familiar with the dining options in the Dreammaker pkgs. (although they sound heavenly since Victoria & Albert's is offered.)

In the Disneyland food package, you get one character breakfast per person, and the rest of it is in vouchers as you have said. Those vouchers can be use anywhere at any of the Disney places (they are not good at many of the DTD restaurants). Oh, some of them also include a breakfast in the park in addition to the character breakfast, which is basically a counter service breakfast, not a character breakfast.

One thing to remember is that you do not get change from them, and you can buy more than one thing per voucher. So, if you get lunch, and it is $18 for all of you, then you would use $15 in vouchers and pay for the rest.

There is a value printed on each one and when we went they took them at price value!!! so if our meal was $32 I gave them enough to cover the 30 and paid the rest!!! I thought the vouchers were great!!!

Call them directly and they will breakdown the different vouchers you get!!!

I found an easier way than calling, so thought I'd post in case anyone else has the same question. I ordered the planning brochure (not video/DVD) from Disneyland, and it has a whole page in it where it says the price of each meal package and what vouchers you get with it. Now I have to pick out the character meals we'd want to do, price them, and then add it all up to see if it comes out to less than the package price.

Yes these brochures do explain them well and then it is all on paper for you to see!!!
