Going to dinner at DTD tonight! The reason???? I have to, must, go to TWoD to do some shopping for a baby gift for a friend of mine in Michigan! Gonna go look for a "My first Mickey" stuffed animal or shirt or something

Hmmm...where should we eat????

Nope...no admission unless your going to see a concert or special show:) I was also thinking of Storytellers or Brennan's(SP).....

I have not visited House of Blues for a fun filled meal yet... I am usually in "entertain the kids" mode, but if it were just me and DW then I would pull for HoB!

But... If we were going into the park then it would be Blue Bayou!

Blues or chirping crickets... Both are awesome!

Have fun... I will be busy envying you...

Okay.....so we ended up going to......Brennen's Jazz Kitchen! Yummy! We were still up in the air about which we would choose so thought that we would see which had the least wait time. Well, walked up to Brennen's and got right in. We really wanted to go there anyways to show some support for the New Orleans owners. We were not going to order a "real" drink, but if you ordered at Hurricane $2 of the cost would go to the hurricane relief. So....what could we do....:) The food was wonderful and the Bananas Foster was sinfully delicious!

Oh...also got to hop into the park for the shopping that I needed to do. I picked up a Baby Mickey for my friends new baby:) Saw parts of the parade and then we were off to dinner. Wow...quick visit, but fun all the same:)

Wow, that sounds great! I am so glad you had fun. We have always wanted to go to that restaurant, maybe we will give it a try when we are there.

It was wonderful, but it was more expensive than HOB! Oh well, we had a good time so it was worth it. Oh yeah...I forgot to mention that they were filming a commercial just outside of Brennen's when we walked out after din din. Actually it was right in front of the fountain that sits between HOB, Brennen's and the Mexican rest.(can't think of the name). It looked like it was a comm. for DTD. Lots of young very nice looking people sitting around cocktail tables, walking by with shopping bags, everyone laughing, drinking(or had drinks in hand) and having a grand time. I'll have to watch for it:)
