Re: Favorite DLR Food
I shared Princess Tessa's find of the mint julep recipe with my siblings yesterday and now the requests are coming in... does any one have the recipe for Bengal BBQ chicken skewers? (They have the beef ones posted in several places, but I can't find the chicken ones... SO good!)

Re: Favorite DLR Food
Hopefully I won't be rebuked for reviving a "zombie" thread.
As for "snacks", this last trip I actually ran into something new. They are selling Turkey Legs. They are more filling than popcorn, churros, or frozen lemonade, but enough to tide you over without waiting for a full meal in a long line. AND after buying it, you can start walking to another point in the park, without being tied down. They are tasty!

Re: Favorite DLR Food
Another vote for the Monte Cristo at the Blue Bayou. When we were there on New Years the side they served was pasta salad and it was delicious!
Besides have a wonderful wine selection the Golden Vine Winery's Orange Sorbet is really good.
