Yeah those pics are VERY dated. We just went through a two week rehab and the redid a bunch of stuff. It is actually quite elegant-the pictures don't do it much justice.
You are right about the panelling though-in the Trophy Room. It is quite dark, but it is intended that way, as it was intended as a "lounge" for Walt and his friends.

HAHA! Oddly enough, most of the folks who come for lunch (I primarily work day shifts, except when I am bartending) are just touristy folks with fanny packs and the whole bit. It is pretty informal during the day, however at night it is a little more dressy.
The food is excellent! The chefs hooked me up with some halibut and lobster with fettucine yesterday, and it was delish! We had one member (a very rich, yet VERY nice man) who had a party on St. Patrick's Day. It was pretty fun. He came in and decorated the whole room (he had the Trophy Room for himself) and they had beer and wine and a rowdy good time. I just met Roy Disney a couple of days ago (he came in and ate lunch with President of Disneyland Resort, Matt Ouimet). He is an EXTREMELY nice man, and even called us by name, which I thought was very endearing. It was very awe-inspiring listening to him talk about stories of "My dad and Uncle Walt." Truly something I will always remember!
