I personally like Goofy's Kitchen and The Blue Bayon in DL. The Napa Rose is also VERY amazing and has wonderful food, but they are a bit on the expensive side but its well worth it. There are still other great places to eat but those are only a FEW of my favorites, DTD has MANY other great places to eat as well as DL and DCA.

Redd Rocket's Pizza Port. We eat there almost EVERY time we go to DL. I always order the Tomato Basil Pasta. Heaven! Absolute heaven!

Re: Any good recommendations for DL Rest.?

I remember the Blue Bayou from my last trip to DL. I always wanted to eat there, but never had the chance. When I went to DW, I kept looking for the restaurant there...but they didn't have one! Do you need to make reservations for lunch? Is so, how far in advance? Thanks!

Re: Any good recommendations for DL Rest.?

Redd Rocket's chicken fuscilli is absolutely WONDERFUL!! If I could only eat one thing during a trip to Disneyland, it would be a tough choice between that and a Dole Whip! Also, other good choices inside the park....for the kids, Club Buzz is kinda fun, they have intermittent Buzz Lightyear shows throughout the day, the food is comparable to Wendy's or any other fast food joint, but it is fun, and there is shade. Turkey legs are great...can be found in Frontierland...In DCA, Taste Pilot's Grill, from what I have heard, has EXCELLENT burgers. Goofy's Kitchen was an absolute hoot!! Napa Rose is a very romantic spot to eat, and they have a one of kind "Disney-breed" rose. Outside of the park, all I can really say is STAY AWAY from Captain Kidd's. If curiosity gets the best of you, just DO NOT eat the buffet!! Unless you like brown/slimy salads, crunchy french fries, microwaved pizza, and watered down salad dressing....STAY AWAY....IHOP is pretty spendy...you can get the same thing a half block away, for half the price....Hope that helps a little....

BTW, I have heard from anyone and everyone that Blue Bayou is a great place to eat, and unfortunately I havent eaten there, but I have eaten their food, (at the cafe underneath POTC and blue bayou) and it was quite tasty!

Re: Any good recommendations for DL Rest.?

We had a lovely dinner at the Blue Bayou. So relaxing (plus we did not have our children - that helps too!)

And Raplh Brenans Jazz Kitchen is fun at/in Downtown.

Re: Any good recommendations for DL Rest.?

Granville's is one of my favorite restaurants. Expensive but worth it. Too view the menu go to http://www.dlresortinfo.com

The have a prix fixe ($28) meal that it great and is just the right amount of food for me.

My favorite picture of Walt Disney hangs in the entrance to the restaurant.

I would NOT reccomend the Jazz Kitchen, or Naples. They are over-priced, bad food & worse service. Napa Ros e is the best & on an equal to V&A @ the GFH in FL. And Catal is great, All 3 dining areas. Granville's is also excellent.
I love to go to Hook's point or the wine cellar.:heart
I love Hook's Point as well. We were there on Sunday and also looked at the Granville's menu and that looks wonderful! And it smelled wonderful too:)

There are tons of great places to eat at DL. Some examples are Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante; Plaza Inn, the French Market Restaurant, Cafe Orleans, and the River Belle Terrace. For quick food (if you're hungry but your fast pass time is coming soon!) you can go to Daisy's Diner; Bengal Barbeque, the Refreshment Corner, La Petite Patisserie, and the Mint Julep Bar. Also, my personal favorite for dinner, if you just want to relax and finish off your Disney day with some great food, try out the Blue Bayou. There are tons of snack places too; Blue Ribbon Bakery, Clarabelle's Frozen Yogurt, Indy Food Cart, Main Street Cone Shop, and Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor. There are tons of other places to go, but I think you've got the idea. Nice restaraunts outside of DL I guess would be all in DD. (Downtown Disney) I love The Rainforest Cafe, you should especially try their breakfast! Don't forget the orange juice. Also they have some great food at the Disneyland Hotel at Goofy's Kitchen. They have cool character breakfasts as well. Also-- speaking of food... do not forget to try the churros at DL, you will not want to miss it!

Re: Any good recommendations for DL Rest.?

There's a Del Taco up the street. I merely mention it because being from Chicago we don;t have Del Taco's. I like to test the local flavors when I travel. I detest that an In-n-out Burger has eluded me.

That's all I got. There a place with wicked good chicken strips across from Pirates - Window Service with Tasty BBQ Sauce.

Ooooh... I don't think this is what you're talking about because it's more across from Indy/Jungle Cruise, but you made me remember that Bengal Barbecue (window service) has AWESOME chicken skewers. They keep really short hours there so I usually don't manage to get one. But they're sooooo good!

Laneysdad - The In-n-Out Burger website lists their locations. The nearest In-n-Out to Disneyland is at 600 S. Brookhurst Street. I recommend the Double-Double Animal style.
