Re: What's the must do restaurant?

There is just something about a burger from the Hungry Bear in Critter Country. Far from gourmet but very 'Disneyland'. I like to get there when it opens (about 11 or 1130) and sit by the water before it gets too busy. It's close to Splash Mountain, Winnie the Pooh and the Pooh character meet and greet area.

I always need an ice cream sundae from Carnation

The Blue Bayou is awesome, but the prices are pretty high. Especially since the changes they've made to the menu. I would highly recommend Goofy's Kitchen if you have kids, but that's in the Disneyland Hotel. Either way, it is AWESOME. I've only been there once, at 10, but it was a blast.

I agree. I will now have to add the Storyteller's Cafe as a destination this December. The ambiance and reasonable prices make it more affordable than Blue Bayou or the Napa Rose, yet just as Disney..

I myself really like Cafe Orelans, get my favorite Ratatouille Dish, sit outside and watch the park/ROA/Mark Twain and NOS and just relax and enjoy the day with good friends, food and Disneyland, what could be better? I have LOTS of favorite places to eat at DLR but its a tradition for me to always have the Ratatouille when I go, so I had to say a little something about good ol' Cafe Orleans!

Yum! I love ratatouille (especially when I don't have to make it myself) and it sounds like a perfect thing for lunch. Think I'll have to pencil in Cafe Orleans for one afternoon.

Next week I'm already confirmed for dinner at Napa Rose on Thursday and Jazz Kitchen on Friday. I'm hoping to add Storyteller's on either Wednesday or Saturday night. Aside from those, my only must-do is a stop at the corndog wagon.

Well, maybe you shoulda told me, rather then going to the Cafe Orleans at breakfast, and discovering they use powdered eggs..

So true, so very true....and still irksome. POWDERED EGGS, people! That's just all kinds of wrong.

Won't be making that mistake next time.
