Hmmm, good question. I would say Plaza Inn, we love it. Walt used to eat breakfast there when he was at the park. The Blue Bayou is so cool and the food is pretty good. I don't know if I could pick one.

I would say Jazz Kitchen if you like cajun style food, Blue Bayou if mere New Orleans flavor is sufficent..

I just did my trip report for seven days, and I ate at MOST of the restaurants there.

Bottom line, if cost and ability are not a concern?

Club 33 is the must do. One should be able to eat there at least ONCE in their life. However, it's a members only, so it's time to get friendly with a member if you want to go.

I would, overall, suggest you eat at Napa Rose, if you can afford it...

Napa Rose is a must do, but very expensive. Blue Bayou is also a must do strictly for ambiance. I love Ariel's Grotto at DCA also for ambiance. It is a blast to eat outside and watch everything going on at PP!

Re: What's the must do restaurant?

The Blue Bayou is a definite winner. If you want something really decadent there, get the Monte Cristo sandwich. Outstanding! Napa Rose (by the Grand Californian Hotel)is the top of the line as far as great dining goes, but the price is also top of the line. If you want a really good buffet, try the Storyteller's Cafe (right next door to Napa Rose). The prime rib is excellent and the desserts are wonderful.

Another vote for Blue Bayou. The food's okay, but the setting is fantastic!

Goofy's Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel. Plaza Inn, but not to the extent of Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom. Storyteller's at Grand Californian, Granville's Steakhouse at the Disneyland.

Re: What's the must do restaurant?

Just chiming in to say that it isn't Disneyland for my family if we don't go to the Blue Bayou and get a Monte Cristo! Also the winery (there are two restaurants) over in California Adventure have a great selection of wines and desserts.

Is Goofy's Kitchen like Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary?

Re: What's the must do restaurant?

It's really really similar. Maybe the menu's even better than Chef Mickey's.

Blue Bayou... We go at lunch as it is a little cheaper, and the meals are just as big as dinner.
