Which restaurant for dinner?
Our DL trip is slowly creeping up on me and I want to start thinking about which PSs to make. I already know that we are going to make a PS for Blue Bayou (HOPING that it reopens in time), I am going to attempt to make the reservation for the Fantasmic Dessert Buffet on the balcony also but we want to do one character dinner.
We are staying at the Disneyland Hotel and it will just be my Dad and I. I can't decide between Goofy's Kitchen or Ariel's Grotto Princess Meal. I do not know anything about the food type or quality at either so I would appreciate some feedback THANK YOU! ![]()

Re: Which restaurant for dinner?
I haven't been to DL in years (since I moved back to NJ from CA), so I don't know anything about Ariel's Grotto. But it sounds super cute so I'd give it a try. Goofy's Kitchen is just okay. I liked it because of the character experience and the atmosphere, but the food wasn't anything to write home about. For some reason, all I remember is the mac and cheese (tasted like it was from a box) and then the chicken fingers.

So I know I put in my two cents on your other thread, but figured I had better vote anyways!

California Adventure doesn't open until around 10:00 a.m. most days.. So that limits you to lunch or dinner at Ariel's.. Goofy's Kitchen does breakfast, lunch and dinner. Though peanut butter and jelly pizza might not suit all tastes.. By doing an early breakfast, you aren't missing out on valuable ride time. ![]()
