Ariel's Grotto?

Has anyone eaten at Ariel's Grotto before?

I am thinking I want to go there for my birthday dinner. I really love Ariel! But I can't go just because I am obsessed... not if I don't like the food. Can anyone tell me what types of food they have? I'd like to get the reservation in quickly so that I don't miss out.

Re: Ariel's Grotto?

I've done it twice (once for the Princess lunch and once way back when it was a character lunch) and I'm doing it again in June!

It is just such a great place to eat and the character interaction is great.

Re: Ariel's Grotto?

Go for it! Hubby and I had a blast when we ate their on our honeymoon. I won't say the food is fantastic, but that's not why you go to Disney character dining anyway, is it? Lots of character interaction and the pasta I had was quite num-nummy!!!

(We sat outside at night...the view of Paradise Pier is amazing! But even in summer, you may want to bring a jacket. Sitting over the water can be a bit chilly.)

Re: Ariel's Grotto?

OOPSS!! I thought it was a vote for the Ariel's grotto character meeting/splash area in WDW too! Sorry!

But if it has anything to do with Ariel, I'm sure DD will have us there when we go to DL!

Re: Ariel's Grotto?

I'm interested in this thread, we too are going to DL in October and was considering taking my DS (11) and DD (5) for a lunch or something. Well worth it?
