Did you use the restroom? That's another thing to consider.

Oh yeah, it's happened. Praise the Lord it didn't happen to me. (There aren't exactly any yell guards UNDER the seats. ) Although I did have it happen on the Orange Stinger...and you can never be sure WHAT'S spraying in your face there, cuz the breeze always blows the water from the lagoon your way...

LOTS of fun stuff happens at Disney every day!

Re: Best place to eat outside DL

It's a plastic shield that goes in front of your face. It's sort of hard to see here, but it's huge and goes from the center chest bar up--sort of like a half cone. The ones in this photo are very clear.

The yell guards (or scream guards, whatever you wanna call them) are plastic shields in front of your face when you ride the Maliboomer. Everyone...and I mean EVERYONE...thinks they are "barf guards"...but they are NOT. When DCA opened, the Maliboomer didn't have these, and Disney was forced to install them because the noise of screams carried so far through local neighborhoods.

Re: Best place to eat outside DL

So, the fact that they act as sort of a guard is only an added plus, eh?

Exactly!

P.S. I didn't even notice we posted at the same time...with generalized internet pictures of the Maliboomer! LOL. Great minds think alike!

Re: Best place to eat outside DL

Too funny! I almost posted the one you posted! I was too lazy to actually get one of my own and resize it, lol.

Back on topic, does anyone know the closest In-n-Out or Fat Burger to Disneyland?

Re: Best place to eat outside DL

The closest In-N-Out I can think of is down Harbor Blvd a few miles, in Fullerton. It's not very far. Probably a 5-minute drive.

There may be one closer, but that was the easiest for us to get to since we had to take the bus everywhere.

Mmmm. In-N-Out!!

I accept my spanking like a man...

In all honesty, I tend to like the simple Red Robin right down the street. It is a place my kids *always* like, which is sort of important. It is a well known too. Sort of not my usual fave when at home though...

Taco Bell is good too! Seriously! Quick! Easy! Fun!

I feel like a corporate restaurant goof sharing this!!!
