Re: Club33

When we did our tour in May they allowed us into the foyer, but not up the stairs. I'd love to be able to get in for a meal somehow.

I had the pleasure of dining there for lunch earlier this month. It was to say the least, fantastic. 4-stars in an excellent setting.

I had salmon on a bed of whole wheat fettuchinni. My wife had pork tenderloins in a nice winde reduction. It may be strange but what impressed me the most is that the veggies were a perfect al dente. Just the way I like 'em.

We'll be heading back for dinner in May. I'll try to remember to post the details here.

After we get our membership (the waiting list is about 3 years or so) we would be more than happy to let people take advantage of the opportunity to eat there.

Heck, if my company buys the corporate membership, which I am considering for the tax write off, I can simply hire a few deserving folks and sponsor their membership.

WOW, lucky you!!!!!

How did you get in this Disney Store international trivia competition? I never knew they had anything like that.

Anyway, I bet going to Club 33 would be something, even just stepping inside the door! A recent Travel Channel special about the Disneyland Resort has a GREAT segment about Club 33, and even goes up into Walt's former apartment for the first time in television history! (I think)

Re: Club33

Disneywife, if it makes you feel any better, a good friend of mine went up with her family last year and ate there. We had eaten together back in '98. However, the 2004 experience left a lot to be desired. The Club has cut back on the menu a bit.

Kind of glad that I didn't have the $10,000.00 to buy a membership back when my name got to the top of the list in 2003. AFTER FIVE YEARS ON A WAITING LIST..

Smugly? Slap him.
Now that I think about this, why can't I cry to a senior CM that I deserve to eat at 33. After all, it's really going to be my 50th birthday when I'm there. Magic Wishes and all.
