Icon6 We made our PS for our February trip!

Unfortunately, Joy (twist1980) won't be able to participate in this thread for the time being, because she lost power due to the heavy winds and rains that are affecting the northwest. Let's send some prayers and pixie dust to all those in the area, and let's hope that Joy gets her power turned back on soon.

Anyway, check out these priority seatings:

Monday, Feb 12th - Blue Bayou for lunch. I'm looking forward to tasting my very first Montecristo!

Tuesday, Feb 13th - Carnation Café for lunch. Joy has been and likes it a lot!

Wednesday, Feb.14th - Napa Rose for dinner. Yes, we've managed to snag a reservation at the best restaurant in Southern California on the most romantic day of the year. It just so happens to also be my birthday.

Thursday, Feb 15th - Goofy’s Kitchen for breakfast - This will be a sad day, because it's our departure day, but what better way to spend the morning than to have breakfast with Goofy and his pals before going to the airport?

The rest of our meals will be either counter service or table services without PS. We are thinking that since it's February we won't have any problems walking right in. So what do you think of our PS?

Yeah my MIL is having a lot of the same issues in OR...

Montecristo is like a ham and cheese dessert...really once you try it you will understand. I could go for one right now.

Joy has been psyching me up about the Montecristo for months. I'm looking forward to sinking my teeth into one.

So what do you think of our PS?
They look great! I the Carnation Cafe. We go almost every trip. It's nothing fancy, but I have always found the food to be very fresh.

You MUST get a corndog from the red corndog cart at the top of Main Street!!! They are the best corndogs in the galaxy--huge, fried artery clogging goodness on a stick

Oh, and if you're looking for breakfast in the park and it's early and sunny, stroll over to the River Bell Terrace. There is nothing like sitting outside sipping a cup of joe across from Pirates and the river watching people start their day. They have an enourmous fruit platter and yummy pancakes.

Love it! Thanks for the tips Daisy. Joy knows the ins and outs of all those food carts and counter services. I'm just going to let myself be led by her. I know one tradition of hers is to go to Hungry Bear for a burger, so that's definitely on our agenda too.

I think she's mentioned the corndog cart to me too. And of course, even though I didn't mention it in this thread, there will be plenty of Dole Whips consumed as well.

LOL, as I typed that I realized you didn't need any help, I just had to put it out there! I really like the HB too and I didn't realize it was open all year! It's nice to be tucked away in that part of the park for a quiet burger by the water

You are going to have such a fantastic trip!!!

I'm not sure if it'll be open in February, but Joy has been at other slow times when it was open, so here's hoping!

I'm sure our trip will be fantastic, I'm really looking forward to it.

If my thread is in the DLMousetrap does that mean we HAVE to go to DL? Mods, please move it so we don't have to get plane tickets to CA.

If it's open, don't miss the Bengal BBQ! It's right by the Best Attraction in the World, and has a tendency to close early.
