Yes, they do. Paradise Pier has Breakfast with Minnie and Friends and the Disneyland Hotel has Goofy's Kitchen. I am not sure about the California Adventure Hotel. It wasn't open when we went. We only saw jasmine and Belle at the breakfast. Alice In Wonderland was there as well. Minnie, Mickey, Goofy, Pluto, Madd Hatter, Mary Poppins...I think the was it.

In addition to the two ArielBelle mentioned, there is also a Chip and Dale character breakfast in the Storytime Cafe at the Grand Californian, Ariel's Groto in California Adventure (lunch and dinner only) and the Plaza Inn breakfast in Disneyland itself.

Personally, I really like Goofy's Kitchen, very similar to Chef Mickey's in Orlando, but smaller, and no Mickey. If you have little girls, the Ariel on is fun, and pretty good food. They change the schedule all the time, so breakfast is a possibility in the future.

I too like Goofy's Kitchen at the DLH. When we were there last December, there was Goofy, of course, Mad Hatter, Genie, Donald Duck, Snow White, and Pluto. We are trying the Storyteller's Cafe breakfast with Chip and Dale in October.

Plaza Inn in DL is Winnie the Pooh Characters and the ONLY place you will see Piglet according to CM's. They have a great breakfast! Also Goofy's kitchen is a hoot and the food is wonderful for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Minnie and friends usually has different characters like Max (Goofy's son)& Daisy Duck (Who is sometimes hard to find), also excellent food!! Then there is a Chip & Dale Meal at GC at Storytellers Cafe!!! We have not done that one because Chip & Dale seem to be everywhere in California Adventure. There is also a restaurant at CA with Ariel and other characters however, it is not titled a Character meal . This is a sit down meal with exceptional food!! We went at 4:30 and we were the only ones in the restaurant so we had Chip, Dale, Pluto, and Ariel to ourselves. It was great!! Especially because we did not know any other characters would be there!! Also a HINT: the meal vouchers at disneyland are a great investment!! You should really consider them!!! We were in Disneyland for 5 days and bought voucher plans for 4 days and it worked great!!! I wish WDW did these!! I will try to find out the name of the restaurant at CA with Ariel and let you know!!:)

The restaurant at CA is Arial's Grotto. We are doing the meal vouchers in October for our five day trip. Only question I have about the vouchers is: Do they have an expiration date on them? I think we may have some extras after the trip.

Remember you can use vouchers for snacks and in the coffee shops at the resorts. they pretty much take the value and they are great at taking them almost everywhere!!!!

We did the Minnie breakfast at Paradise Pier. The food was good and the character interaction was great. My daughter loves Daisy Duck. We did not know she was there ...what a pleasent surprise! Minnie and Daisy dance with the kids and do a Conga line. My daughter was smiling ear to ear when Daisy came and grabbed her hand to lead the line!

We also went to Chef Goofy's for lunch. The food was also good.
The character's do a little show and dance with the kids every 1/2 hour or so.
It was also her birthday so we paid a few dollars extra for balloons a birthday hat and a birthday cupcake. Alladin came and sang Happy Birthday to her.
We had a great experience at both PP and CG and would reccomend them to anyone.
In our experience there are much more character dinning opportunities at WDW, however we had more fun at th DL ones.

Meal Vouchers?

A couple of you mentioned meal vouchers. They do that for Disneyland? I thought that was just a Disney World deal. Tell me more about the Disneyland vouchers - where do you get them? How much are they? Which restaurants accept them? etc.

PS- Thanks for all the great info about character breakfasts, etc.

They are listed at Disneyland.com as MEAL PLANS. they come in DAYS ie: 3, 4, 5... days. You get different amounts for different amount of days. Like for 4 days I am pretty sure you get 10 vouchers per person in your party.

They are very accomadating with these vouchers! Some list specific restaurants but we used them where ever. We just would add up the VALUE it stated on the voucher to pay and they would take them like cash!!! THEY DO NOT GIVE CHANGE THO!!! So if we were over by a dollar or two we would pay the difference in cash!!! Then you do not lose extra money!!! They were great, and there is only a few places where they would not take them like DTD and places where they sold souveniers too!!!

I bought a business card holder to organize ours and then it was really quick to see what we had left!!! Basically all of our meals and snacks were paid for with these!!!

Since they are sold by Disney travel they are face value when you use them!!! (714-520-5060) Any other questions please ask!!! I know we saved about $35 per adult and $25 per child over the whole trip!!! But my motivation was more to have the meals paid for in advance!!!:) Hope this helps!!!
