Favorite Disneyland Restaurant.

What is your Favorite Restaurant at The disneyland Resort?

I would have to say my Favorite is Napa Rose at the Grand Californian Hotel. It is expensive though the food is wonderful.

We have eaten at most of the restaurants in disneyland, with the exception of a couple of the new ones in downtown Disney and Napa Rose. I haven't been all that impressed by them, with the exception of Goofy's Kitchen, which is great, and Storyteller's Cafe in the Grand Californian. Neither of them are real fancy, but they have good character meals and have good food for the price. I was really impressed with Storyteller's, it was beautiful inside, and the food was great.

Goofy's Kitchen is great too. That was more resonably priced. It's a lot of fun. The kids like it.

Re: Favorite Disneyland Restaurant.

I would have to say the Napa Rose as well. Even though it is insanely expensive, I've loved it every time I've eaten there on Disney's dollar (dh has many business dinners and gatherings there). We'd never eat there on our own. But the food is AMAZING!

When we go on our own dollar, inside DL we like Red Rocket's Pizza Port soley for their basil tomato pasta and one of their salads (can't remember the name). It's a buffet though and always chaos getting in and out. We also like the Carnation Cafe on main street. They have great sandwiches and my kids absolutely love getting the kid's Painter's Pallet. You can watch a parade from your table as well. Really cool.

We've eaten at the Blue Bayou, and while my dh likes it I don't as much. I think you pay more for the atmosphere which is ok too. It's definitely something you should do at least once.

My dh has been to Club 33 (I haven't) and he did say that he wasn't too impressed with the food. Good, but not the spectacular he expected. (They share a kitchen with the Blue Bayou). Napa Rose is eons better.

There's definitely no shortage of restaurants at the DL! We are there all the time and still have yet to try every place.

Re: Favorite Disneyland Restaurant.

Redd Rockets is one of my favorite. Huge pizza slices and great foccacia bread! I have been to Blue Bayou also. I was very disappointed. You are definately paying for the atmosphere, not the food. 3 out of 4 in my group were sick the rest of the evening after eating there!
I also love the bakery in CA. I can't remember the name, but it is right by the sourdough bread factory. Excellent broccoli cheese soup and great looking salads (haven't tried one).

Goofy's Kitchen and I personally love the Blue Lagoon...I think that's the name. It's in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride and it has exquisite food!

Re: Favorite Disneyland Restaurant.

I choose Hungry Bear, not so much because of the food, but because we have a family tradition of feeding the ducks.

It is the restaurant I would be the most upset to see closed. I guess that makes it my favorite.

Re: Favorite Disneyland Restaurant.

My favorite would be the outdoor cafe in New Orleans Square at DLR. I am vegetarian and had some sort of potato soup (or maybe brocolli cheese?) the last time I went, in the sourdough bread bowl. It was one of the best things I've ever eaten. I thought it was called the Mint Julep but I think I'm wrong. It wasn't the indoors restaurant, it had counter service that is accessed outside, I believe.

It was a very late lunch (around 4pm) ...I was really hungry and ate the whole bread bowl. I was really embarrassed and kept looking around to see if anyone was staring at me like I was a total pig.

When I was little we seemed to eat every meal at the pizza place in Tomorrowland, I don't think I could ever eat there again. I'm sick of it, hee hee.

Re: Favorite Disneyland Restaurant.

My FAVORITE restaurant is Napa Rose. My boyfriend surprised me for my 21st birthday and took me there for dinner.

It was the best restaurant I've ever been to!
