Disneywife-
Napa Rose, Tuesday June 14, 10 PM(after Remember)
50th birthday dinner, what do you think? Sure it isn't 33, but I can get reservations. Ummm, ditch DH for the night and don't tell my DW if you see her.

LOL, sound tempting...

(Do you really have reservations at 10 pm? If they are showing the fireworks when they usually do (at 9:35), you're going to have to run at warp speed to get there on time....

I'd aim for 10:15 or even 10:30...)

But I absolutely LOVE the Napa Rose... the food there is absolutely amazing. Delish.

Re: DL restaurants

9:35 and I'll be in place on the landing on Main Street Station. 9:55 and I should be at the gates. I walk at NYC street speeds and should just make it. I do have practice. I've managed to catch Illuminations and Wishes on the same night 3 times, and that involves two monorails and a hike past Spaceship Earth. But, the schedule I've seen says fireworks at 9:25, and that makes 10 PM do-able.
Sorry for the lag on response, I'm shopping for homes, lining up financing, and pushing my condo association to finish fixing my current hovel. I still need to make my dining PSs in the next week.

Re: DL restaurants

A couple of years ago we had dinner at Blue Bayou like we love to, and were really disappointed by the food. Hopefully it's gotten good again. We had dinner at the Golden Vine in DCA another night and it was one of the best dining experiences of my life (and I've had the pleasure of eating at some really nice places too!).

There are choices everywhere you go, both counter service and sit-down.

There's a seafood salad at the Bayou that's got to be low fat. You just have to avoid ordering clam chowder to go with it.

Like Disneywife said, there's stuff all over if you look. Sometimes you just have to look really hard.
