Your favorite and not so favorite DL ride of the past?
Meaning, a ride that is no longer there or open.
Mine favorite would be the submarine. I always found that ride so soothing and calming. It was also my son's favorite ride when he was a baby. One that I am so glad is gone - the sky movers (or whatever they were called). I was always afraid when I was on them and afraid when I was walking under them. They were also kinda scary to get on and off of. I'm glad they're gone. You? |

I really like Pinnochio and Alice in Wonderland, 'cuz they're different for us WDW-types. Actually, for that reason, POTC and HM also fit that bill.
Not so good? That kiddie-boat ride (the old Phantom boats). Yeesh.

same here. I liked the submarines. The ride was awsome and it had a good song. :-)

The kiddie boat ride do you mean the Storybook boat thingy that goes into the whale's mouth and then through the adorable miniature village? |

Mmm, definitely 20,000 Leagues. I cannot stand seeing that lagoon so forlorn and empty! That ride is definitely an experience I miss dearly.

Is that what the submarines were called? I never knew that!
What are they going to do with the lagoon? It would be great if they could bring back the submarines if only for the 50th anniversary, huh? |

yea that would be awsome. They were going to try and turn it into a a Finding Nemo Adventure submarine type ride. That would be sooo cool to have that or to even have the old submarines back! The lagoon is empty without the ride there. Now its just old submarine tracks, underwater loading dock, and the lagoon itself.
