DL update

Hey yall,
I was just at www.mouseinfo.com and they have a whole new up to date DL pictorial update. They have pictures of the top part of the castle now revealed and EVERYTHING that is goin on inside the parks. If you can I would totally recommend you going there and seeing the pictures, its awsome. When you go to the main page you'll see the part of the castle that is revealed and under the text click the link and it will take you to the pictorial update page. The pictures and that sort are awsome. I thought some of you would like to hear this. Below I have provided a few of the castle pictures from the site. But there are SOOO many more great pictures that you can view bigger of everything so if you can I would deffinatley recommend visiting the update. :-)

Re: DL update

GREAT PICTURES!!!
Can't wait to be in DL in a few months!!!!
I need to start looking for a room, the last three years we have stayed at the Paradise Pier (for the convention), but this year we might try the Grand Californian
- the Disneyland Hotel is to far from the convention center "(

Can't wait to ride the TOT, love the outside of it - different from the FL version

Re: DL update

OMG--I just came from that site ( I haven't discovered the pics you're talking about yet) But I saw photos of New Orleans Square. I had forgotten how beautiful this was. I actually bought a very special cache pot there in the early 80s.

annaheimboy, so that I don't have to click through every page, can you post the link to the photos you're talking about? Thanks....

It would probably be a 15 minute walk to the convention center. You could do that easily from any of the hotels (just walk down West towards Katella and you can't miss it right in front of you) but I'd be shocked if all the hotels didn't offer daily/hourly shuttles to and from the convention center.

The DCA Tower of Terror is built with a unique style of California architecture called Pueblo Deco. Only a couple of buildings in CA still standing are built in this style, the Los Angeles City Hall being one of them. Aside from the theme of neglect that goes along with the ride, the Tower of Terror is historically accurate in its replica of the Pueblo Deco style of architecture. (Little interesting tidbit of info.... )

Re: DL update

Yea, DCA's TOT has a very nice unique style and I really like it. It fits well with the California/Mexican history. And most hotels should offer a shuttle to or somewhere near the Convention Center, most of them usually do anyway. :-)
