A friend just called me from WDW

She's a DL regular as well and she and her family decided to make the trip out to WDW this year. She actually called me from Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party while they were waiting for a very delayed parade to start.

All she could say is that they were having a good time, that they were tired, and that after going, we'd have a blast, but that we'd appreciate what we have here at home much more!

And that she has a lot of tips for me. (Our trip is in a little less than three weeks!)

Just thought I'd share that.

It's always great to hear about friends having such a good time. It's good to hear she was enjoying herself. I hope you end up having a great trip as well. Don't forget to give us a full report when you get back. And have a safe trip. I wish I could say mine was in 3 weeks.

No, I was there when I was a teenager and went to MK and Epcot. But, I don't remember too much, and this is my first trip as an adult, so I can safely say sort of...lol

Dh has been there more recently.

Having done both now, I can safely say that WDW can be kind of overwhelming at first. Just read all the pointers here on DC & try not to stress over the little stuff. Can't wait to hear what you think.
