Re: Disneyland tonight!
Oh no!!
While I do find Disney oddly charming in a gentle drizzle, Disney in a downpour is just miserable. Hope the weather's good for you tonite, and I hope you have an awesome time!! By the way.. what all goes on at the private party?

Have fun at the party. I hope the weather is kind to you and holds off a bit.

Last year, Michael Eisner scooped ice cream on Main Street the night we were there...we shall see tonight! No rain yet and we are leaving in about an hour. |

Re: Disneyland tonight!
Well, we went, and it was only lightly spitting - annoying but tolerable. But it was really, really, reaaaallllly cold.
Anyway, we didn't stay long, but we had fun! There were no fireworks, but we had dinner, stayed for the parade, dh and ds rode Star Tours, got our ornament for the event and left. Didn't see any famous faces and dh didn't even run into anyone he knows. But it sure is interesting to see people running in and out of the street during the parade (seeing coworkers that they know IN the parade), no ropes on the parade route, and cast members in badges (who were working tonight) riding rides - I saw several getting on and off Astro Orbiters. Really laid back! It was fun. Now to deal with two kids tomorrow morning that didn't get a lot of sleep... ![]() |
