Subs got the Green Light!
I have just recieved the news that the subs have recieved the green light for re-opening! It will be completly re-built and will go with the Nemo theme and is planned to open in 06-07. I cant wait for it to re-open! www.miceage.com even has an article on it in their new DLR update. You may want to check it out!

Thanks for the heads up Anaheimboy!! My DH drove the subs at WDW, and we were crushed when they closed them at DLR as well. Great site as well - talk about a ton of interesting Disney info!!

OMG that is AWESOME news!!!
  How exciting! I'm sooooo glad my DH and children will be able to experience something similar to the original 20,000 Leagues. With Nemo, that's even better! I can't wait.

My pleasure everyone! DLR's TL is finally looking up. Its being re-painted finally, new rides are opening, and just good things are happening to TL. Now if they would only re-open the People Mover!

I know! TL is looking so great! Keep your eye out for a peoplemover car being tested along the tracks
 I read that artical just earlier today. I read a similar article written a few weeks ago also about the subs.. they have some pretty cool plans!

Yay! Thanks DLR...I should've known you would know the answer too!
I'm excited because that's going to be one of the few rides I can actually go on in June when we visit...since I'll be several months preggo and all.  I'm really glad Tomorrowland is looking better...it's been so dull and uninteresting for a while! Buzz will help that, and OF COURSE the re-opening of SM! I'm so sad I'll hafta miss out on that one in June.

Yea since you'll be "preggo" It's a good thing in a way that your missing the opening for Space Mountain. :c) It would be a bigger let down knowing that you "could" ride it. I hope you have loads of fun on your trip! You'll have to watch all the great shows. Oops.. I'm thread jacking... Sorry 'bout that. That's what the hijack thread is for I'm really glad The subs are coming back. Just one question, how do you guys think they will associate nemo with The future? I'm sure WDI will think of something. they always do.
