Buzzlightyear Ride Review!!

Mouseinfo.com has a great ride review of Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters.. movie and pictures included. The ride was open for sneak previews for about 3 hours today! Oh How I wish I was there to take a ride. They say WDI did a great job on this! Check it out.

Thanks for the info DLR! I will definitely check this out...really interested in finding out how it compares with the WDW version.

Woo hoo! Those were some great pics...it seems the special effects and actual ride may be a tad better than the one at wdw!!

Yay! I cannot wait until our June trip and neither can the kids! Buzz is one of their favorites.

WDW Buzz already needs some fixing up..the paint is chipping on the control panel and other things, DS's button was stuck and wouldn't work, 7 of the control panels were covered up and couldn't be used, AND we got stuck on this ride for 15 min and couldn't get out..not a good experience at WDW's Buzz so we are looking forward to DL's new version very much!

I'm happy for them. Disneyland's tomorrowland is a mess. They seem to finally be fixing it for the big celebration. At least some of it. Poor Wedway.

It looks great. I would like if WDW Buzz would get a week or two rehab before the celebration just for some painting and touch-ups.

The guy who rode it said it was awsome! And that WDI did a great job. I'm really excited to be there. I'll be there the day it officially opens, March 17th!

Tomorrowland at DL is REALLY looking up. They say that the new buzz ride will surely bring in more crowds to tomorrowland. The new color paint scheme is almost done and it looks really great. Space Mountain "re-launch" will be openening this summer, so come July 17th, (maybe even earlier) Tomorrowland Is Going to be the Place to be!! Just like good ol' days. Now all they need is to re-open the peoplemovers.

Some sites have said that the ride will be open from now on. For at least part of the day.

Yea, My brother got off work early today and said it was open for a little while. LUCKLY I FINALLY got over to DL yesterday afternoon but it wasnt open, BUT that painting is Tomorrowland is coming along VERY well and looks great!!!

Sweet! I've seen pictures of the new colors for the Peoplemover track. Looks like an actual "tomorrow". Not another planet.

Yea, its looking great! I cant wait to see what the Innoventions building will look like when they tarps come down. hmmm......ALSO, they have began some work up on the 2nd floor near Space Mountain...I wounder if its just maintence work or if something is actually happening up there for future use? And painting has been happening up in that area as well. Tomorrowland is gonna look awsome when done! Now if only they would do something with the People Mover track....
