...work there again!

After the stuff that's been happening lately, Ryan and I have decided that we want to move back to Cali as soon as is feasible.

Looks like the beginning of 2006 (or around there), I will get to live my dream all over again! (But this time, in a house...not living out of hotels and a car.) Through his real estate sources, Ryan has found a couple of great home prospects for us in the Anaheim Hills area. Once we decide which one will work best for us...and hopefully visit them this Spring/Summer, we will be putting money down on a home!

I really needed something to look forward to, and while it's not a Disney trip...it'll do just fine!!!

congrats for you! hope it works out....but, weren't you planning on going to WDW for your anniversary soon? Did those plans fall through? Sorry if I missed something-I don't always pay enough attention....If so, sorry about it....There have been times when we've had WDW trips and had to cancel or reschedule and I know what a bummer that can be....Hope all goes well with disneyland and the move though!

Thanks Snazzy... Yeah, things have been all mixed up for us lately. I had a great anniversary trip to WDW planned, but then we found out I was pregnant, so the money went towards things like fixing the car, improving the house, etc. instead.
Then I lost the baby... urgh...and with all the trip money gone, it didn't seem likely we'd be able to scrounge up enough by May.

So for now there are no Disney trips in the future (at least none set in stone, so I'm keeping my lips sealed and not jinxing it! ) but hopefully a move back to Cali, and a chance to work for the Mouse again. And basically, a chance to get back to where we really wanna be...so we don't stay up here and mope instead.

wow! so sorry to hear the bad news about the baby and trip cancellations and everything..
Life can be really tough sometimes...but, it sounds like you guys have a plan and are moving on and staying strong, good for you...sending you pixie dust! good luck

Thanks! I'm storing all my pixie dust in a jar right now & storing it close to my heart...I can use every ounce of it!

We're definitely trying to move on and stay strong. Our first 10 months of marriage have been such a roller coaster ride, it's almost comedic. Seriously. So just when we think we can handle anything, something tougher comes along...and we just gotta march through it!

Thanks everyone! I really am thrilled out of my mind! It's all I can talk about right now.

I know the first year of our marriage has been so unpredictable, some people even missed the parts where I worked at Disney, or when I moved up here to AK! We've been all over for sure.

I'll give a quick run-down for anyone who missed the crazy events of our life! LOL
May 2004: Ryan and I were married in Anaheim
June 2004: We picked up and moved spontaneously to California, and both had jobs at DLR within 3 days! Ryan worked in the Stores on Main Street, and I worked Attactions on Paradise Pier in DCA.
August 2004: After struggling to survive on minimal wages/hours & being unsuccessful at finding 2nd jobs, we had to quit suddenly and move up to Alaska to be with Ryan's family.
Now: We've been up here for a while, and while it hasn't been BAD, it just hasn't been what we wanted exactly. We both can't wait to get back to Cali!

Y'know, Dopey may be right...I'm kind of afraid to talk about it too much, and jinx it!
