Okay. This Disneyland 50th Anniversary thing is driving me crazy. We've made plans to go to Disneyland in June, and ever since then it seems like Disneyland is everywhere...! The commercials, posters, billboards, radio ads...it's making me go psycho. I wish it was June already! But I love the feeling...of planning the whole trip out, then just letting it flow with the breeze! Hehe, anyone else experiencing similar "problems"? Ah, Disneyland...

I mean, it's going to be so great. What I'm looking forward to most is the Space Mountain grand re-opening! I forgot to ask--does anyone here know if they will be lowering the draw bridge at the Sleeping Beauty Castle?

Hi Ariel....Excited Without a doubt My wife, son & I go to WDW alot but being we live in the North East we don't get to DLR to often. Our last trip was in 96 when our son was 6 and now he's 15 (And still a big fan ) We're going in July and like you we're going crazy with anticipation...but isn't that half the fun We love checking out all the books and websites on DLR that we can find...especially here at DC

Same here! Even though I'm only about six hours away from DLR, I love checking out their website and planning. It's just so exciting. Since I live pretty close to DLR, though, I barely ever go to WDW. I've only gone once. This June is for my fifteenth birthday. Haha, in highschool and still all over Disney! It's my first Disneyland birthday. Wait... no Space Mountain?! Rescheduling time...

DEFINITELY NOT ALONE!!! i mean, HELLO...im going over new years, and thats HECKA far away...geesh, i go CRAZY whenever i go into safeway, cause they're selling the tickets!!! aaah, i sooo cant wait...im a very impatient person...ESPECIALLY when it comes to waiting on DL.

Muahaha! I have succeeded in my trip planning. Yes, folks, the almost impossible has been done. We switched our date from one date to the other. We're going July 15th... and believe me, that was hard. (Since it's the re-opening of Space Mountain) which is all that really matters. Gosh, I still hope the music is there... hey, maybe you guys will see me there! I'll be the one with the pink hair, haha.

Very true. It's so exciting! Disneyland always is. Ouch, what an anticipation ITCH! Hehe.

I personally don't think May 5th will be that crowded. Well, at least compared to July 17th! DW and I will be there on the 17th, but we plan to spend lotsa time at our resort as we are SURE the parks (at least DLP) will reach capacity each day of our stay!

Awww...that sucks. Well, think of it this way, I'm going JULY 15TH...the day that Space Mountain opens! How brutal will that be? Haha. Oh well, we have a whole week and a weekend to be there. We plan to just chill at the hotel all weekend...and shop :)

It should be MORE than brutal if you attempt to ride Space! We too are planning to chill at the hotel, enjoy the pool, and shop til we drop! Our whole trip should be VERY chaotic in the parks, but we will manage. You may need that whole week and weekend just to actually get a chance to do everything there! Well, hopefully not!
