Re: real quick question
Are you staying at a DLR hotel or off site? I don't think they will sell out of tickets, since the tickets don't have a particular date on them....unless they have some sort of expiration date. Your problem could come if you are not staying at at DLR hotel....if the parks are closed off due to capacity, DLR guests are allowed to enter, but those staying off site can be turned away. (At least that is how it works at WDW, and I think I have heard that about DLR).

Re: real quick question
Do you mean do they ever stop selling tickets? No, they don't. Disneyland and California Adventure do have maximum occupancy, but they would still sell tickets even if the parks are closed. Doesn't matter if you buy the tickets today or a week before you go, they will still be there.

Re: real quick question
Yeah, if the park gets full and you're staying offsite (as I am for may 5th) you can be turned away (and I am VERY worried about that) But as long as you get there early I should think it would be okay

Re: real quick question
Yes, PARTICULARLY on New Year's Eve. They will only turn away people at the ticket booths who have not yet bought a ticket, though, so if you have a ticket in hand, you'll be fine. I'd buy one now. (Make sure it's good for a certain period of time, and not just the day you buy it)

SOOOOOO. You can buy tickets that morning. But if you go in, STAY IN. Do not leave. You risk being marooned with all the other johnny come latelys.

I am not positive, but I AM pretty sure, if you stay onsite or have an AP, and you exit the park and then it reaches capacity, you can still enter. Just something I heard on the front lines, could be a rumor though. On a day like New Year's Eve or May 5th for that matter, I wouldn't risk it though. Plan on it reaching capacity. HTH, Ryan
