Imprompto Trip to Disneyland! Yeah!!!

Hi all,

Just had to share that we have decided to take our DK's to Disneylands 50th.

We weren't planning anything this year because we are going to WDW next year for 2 weeks. But they had a great offer and we decide let's go!!

We are going to be in Disneyland from Dec.5 to Dec. 9th.

Anyone else going at that time?

Yippee, Can't wait!!

Yep we have been there twice before and stayed at the Disneyland Hotel. Which we love!! So, we will stay there. This will be my DD 3rd trip and my DS very first Disneyland trip.

Can't wait to go!!

I am terrible at keeping surprises. LOL So we told the kids. They want to start a countdown chain now. My DD is going to be 10 and she is having fun planning with us. My soon to be 6 year old DS just wants to ride the cars, trains and hug mickey.

I can't wait to see all the 50th stuff. Awesome!!

We're really jealous.

I remember being at WDW for the 25th Anniversary and when Disney celebrate they do it in style............BIG TIME.

I think the original Disneyland is a fabulous and very special place ( more compact and homely than it's younger sister in Florida ) .............and despite the odd complaint from others ( why ? )..........we liked Californian Adventure too.

Best ride at DL ?.....................Splash ( or Thunder or Pirates or.....etc )
Best ride at CA ?....................Grizzly Rapids ( or Soarin' or Screamin' or etc)

Have a fantastic time............it'll be really special I'm sure.

We really wanted to be there for that, but couldn't afford it at the time. We then decide to really try for the unique celebrations.

I too love the cozy feeling of Disneyland. It seems more relaxed and easy going. Your not trying to fit in 4 parks in a short amount of time. Just 2.

Let's see, best rides...

Disneyland would be Peter Pan and splash and big thunder and and and......

Californian would be mullholland express and grizzly and that roller coaster and and.......

Can I start packing yet?? LOL

Anytime you get to go to WDW or DL planned or unplanned is awesome!!! Have a great time and don't forget the TR when you get home
