POTC New Ride Theme..?
This involves WDW too but I wanted to post it in here because its more of a DLR subject I guess you could say.....it invloves both DL and MK.
I was told that WDW's POTC is recieving the new movie themed ride layout (Jack Sparrow) like DLR is getting, is this true or was it the person I was talking to had no idea what they were talking about? Any help would be great!

I heard that Disney was updating both park's versions of POTC! They are going to add animatronic Jack Sparrow, Commodore Barbosa, and more! Hopefully they won't change the attractions too much!

I can't wait to see more details about the refurb and the theme changes...
It is a bummer that the pictures that R2G shared had to be removed!

I still don't know why POTC needed updating. The ride is great. The movie is great, but you don't need that much overlap to enjoy either.

Yes, both parks are getting the new 'movie' theme. Interesting how it all worked out... going from ride to movie... the movie was such a success that it went from movie to ride. Like others have said before, good thing the Haunted Mansion movie wasn't a success!
