Discover Disney's California Food & Wine Weekends
I just got an e-mail that says from 28 April to 31 May will be hosting various activities each weekend.
One of which was the MASTER Sommelier from NAPA ROSE, Michael Jordan, who I had the pleasure of meeting last February. Sunday, April 30 - USA Wines - The basics An introduction to North American Wines and Viticultural Areas (including California) Sunday, May 7 - Napa Valley The Regional Viticultural Areas and Wines of The Great Napa Valley Sunday, May 14 - Central Coast and Southern California The Regional Viticultural Areas and Wines of The Central Coast and So. California Sunday, May 21 - Russian River, Sonoma & Mendocino The Regional Viticultural Areas and Wines of Russian River Valley, Sonoma and Mendocino Counties Seminars are scheduled Sundays at 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 pm and run approximately 90 minutes. Seminars take place at the Seasons of the Vine attraction in Disney's California Adventure® Park. Seating is limited to a maximum capacity of 30 Guests per seminar and advance reservations are required. Tickets are available for $60 per person; Or, save up to $40 when you purchase a series of four seminars in advance for $200. In addition, you'll receive a special certificate when you complete the series. For the first time, I wished I lived in Southern California and could take advantage of this... By the way, Michael Jordan has taught all of his waitstaff enough wine knowledge to reach a minimum of level one Sommeliers ![]()

anaheimboy, I want to hear what it is like too!
I read about everything a few weeks ago and I would love to do it! Especially since it involves food and wine, two of my faves!
