DCA and DL both sold out!

I just read about this, last saturday 4-22, both Disneyland AND Disney's Calfiornia Adventure Park were both sold out at the same time. They were both completely full to capacity! I knew that DL sold out multiple times last summer, but now DCA? The Disneyland Resort is certainly doing incredible.

Re: DCA and DL both sold out!

Great news, but it sort of made me groan for the CMs that had to turn people away. That can't be fun to do.

I wonder if any DCers were there--I'd love to hear how it was handled--things like hopping between the two parks, wait times and such

Big crowds are not my personal fave... I prefer to go while kids are in school (but mine play hookey)!

Wow.

I don't think I've ever been at Disneyland where they've turned people away.

Of course, I usually show up bright and early, and wouldn't know if they did that or not.

I AM TRULY AMAZED that California Adventure was sold out.

I read about that and saw some pictures of DCA. It was amazing, I've never seen DCA that crowded, even shortly after it opened! I guess Monsters Inc. had a 120 minute+ wait time and even things like Heimlichs Chew Chew Train had a 45 minute wait. I'm getting a little worried about my June trip!

Re: DCA and DL both sold out!

Spring breaks are pretty crazy crowded, especially on the weekends... Just be sure to get into the park and stay there on some of the busy days!

I'm HOPING to go in June. The May is out of the question, and my July is off because I have to be in Court.

Perhaps June is more likely..

Well most likely unfortunatley enough for you Disney is expecting this to be one of the most crowded summers that the resort has seen (or so their saying) because its the last summer for the 50th, its said that it will be as bad as last summers crowds but more people....lol. But no matter what the crowds Im most sure that you will have a splended time.
