Remember fireworks are to be no more..

I just got the news that Disney has planned for "Remember...Dreams Come True" firework spectacular to end when the 50th ends, being replaced by a halloween themed show, then onto an xmas show and winter into spring may have no fireworks at all while they design a new show to replace Remember. So if you havent seen it go and see it ASAP!!

I've heard that as well. I'll be sad to see Remember go as it is an amazing show, but I'm really looking forward to what they may put together for Halloween. I'll be there in late October and I would love to see a Halloween fireworks show if they end up doing one!

Yes, I have to plan another trip to DL. My July trip just isn't going to be conducive to fireworks watching.

I just bawl like a baby through Remember.

nooooooooooo! :( That is such a bummer, I was really hoping that they would keep it around. P.S. Here at Disneyworld Wishes is nice, but it pales in comparison.

I'm really disappointed that I'll never be able to see this show. My buddy Vince was telling me how AMAZING it is...

We'll have to watch it more than once to make sure it's imprinted on our brains, then.

NO!

I hate to see Remember go... it's probably one of my favorite Fireworks shows... actually, it is!

I suppose I'll have to tape the whole thing when I go there on the 24th.

Re: Remember fireworks are to be no more..

Luckly enough for us there are lots of videos of it on the internet and if anyone is interested I have 4-5 versions of it on my computer if anyone wants to download it from me just let me know, I also have Walt Disney's Parade of Dreams and the May 5th Opening Day Ceremonies from Disneyland and many more videos! So just hit me up if any of you are interested!

Re: Remember fireworks are to be no more..

I am really devastated by this...no matter how many times I've watched it (and it's been A LOT), Remember is simply the most spectacular fireworks show I have ever seen! And it has been such a huge success, I was really hoping they would keep it a little longer than the 50th.

I'm glad my parents got to see it when they came to visit. It is a fireworks show to end all shows. And I ALMOST got to keep a souvenir of it once! (When I piece of fireworks fallout hit a rocket on the Astro Orbitor! We almost had to shut the whole attraction down, it was scary!)

I hope that Disney doesn't hold back, now that they've seen the kind of crowds a show like Remember draws. The fireworks before the 50th were just terrible...so I really hope they put a lot of thought and teamwork into the new shows. Even if we have to do without fireworks for a while, it's worth it!

Re: Remember fireworks are to be no more..

Just as long as they have something by May... I think we're delaying our trip to WDW from this Christmas to MAYBE next, but we're planning on a "boys only" trip to DL in May for Star Wars 30th Anniversary. Celebration IV is happening in LA then, so we're thinking about me taking the boys to that and staying a little longer for DL. I hope we get to!

Re: Remember fireworks are to be no more..

I just saw Remember for the first time 2 nights ago and it was amazing! It's sad that it has to go... TDA knows what a success it was/is, and they know they will have many dissapointed fans if they don't come out with a show that is just as good. Remember will be mighty hard to beat though!
