Sub Lagoon Filling Time

Just for those of you wondering, the Sub Lagoon is set to be filled around October 10th with work continuing inside the dry boxed off show rooms throughout the winter, Im assuming this will be the official water fill....but we will find out I guess, just thought you all might be interested in knowing that little bit of info!

Wow, time really does fly..

I think I'm gonna miss the pumping of mass quantities of liquid, as I leave the 9th or so.

I hope it stays filled after that! I'm hoping when I'm there at the end of the month I'll get to see water again! I cannot wait!!! You are right 626, time sure does fly!

I can't wait either! I loved the other one, we only went on it two times before it closed and it was so cool looking! I loved the way it had that 50s look to it. Just my opinion, I don't think they should have closed it and waited this long to reopen it.

Re: Sub Lagoon Filling Time

It was cool to watch them working on it when we got off the monorail in Tomorrowland. Just when I thought I'd take a break from DL for a little while they go and put in SUCH an amazing attraction. I can't wait!!! Spring '07, right?

I am not sure actually. The sign outside of the construction area just said "resurfacing 2007."

Cool! I wish I was still working at Autopia at that point...you can see soooo much from one of the positions there! I used to just stare into the lagoon. Now it's going to be even prettier when it has water in it again!

Thanks anaheimboy! We are thinking of a DL trip in 2007, but would definatly plan it for after this opens. If you get a chance to take some pics, I would love to see them.

Re: Sub Lagoon Filling Time

Yup, it's supposed to be "Spring 2007." But you know Disney...they consider June "spring"...so it may end up being more like summer.

Re: Sub Lagoon Filling Time

I though the sound of water was coming from the loose pipe under my kitchen sink! This is much better news than me having to play plumber and making a trip to Home Depot!

Hooray for the subs!!! Bring 'em on!!!
