50th logo booted...

Im not sure why I am sharing this but for some odd reason it interested me....caught my attention, why? I have no clue....BUT......I was reading the paper yesterday and come across the every 2 week Disneyland Resort add, their no longer using the 50th Logo and that sort anymore....now its that "Year of a Million Dreams" logo...hmm (I personally dont like the logo and the slogan but thats just me), but anyways, thats all I wanted to share.

Awe, I'm going to miss it. We had a great time at the 50th everytime we visited and I loved all the gold accents on the castle and everything else.

Sad news, I really got used to seeing it. And now that it no longer is being used, well, something will be missing.

By the way, what does the new logo look like? Can you post a pic?

Thanks for the report Tim, I remember when I used to live in Florida and would see all the WDW adverts. I don't think I really know the official logo for this new "Year of a Million Dreams" celebration but I am with you on not liking the slogan all that much. To be 100% honest, as much as some of those prizes are absolute DREAMS to me and once in a lifetime opportunities something inside me just isn't embaracing this celebration. We'll see.

I cant seem to find a picture of the logo (well I did but the site wont let me save the picture) so here is the link to the direct Disney site of the event, it has the logo in the lower left hand corner of the page.

Thanks for the info...however, I can't see the logo. For some strange reason, I've always had a problem viewing this page in its entirety.

thats the one I was talking about....I just for some reason dont like it. I think its like to "fake" looking or isnt magical enough or something, but thats just me, lol.

Hey! Isn't the 50th celebration still going on? I thought it was supposed to be until October? I'm headed there in 10 days and I'm counting on at least the castle decorations still being up.

Yeah it's still going on, it ends at the end of this month or start of next month.
