Goodbye 50th Anniversary

The 50th Anniversary Celebration at the Disneyland Resort has officially come to an end. All special events (besides the fireworks and parade - or so I have heard) have been ended and all has been transformed back to normal, from napkins to merchandise bags.
All that pretty much remains from the 50th is Sleeping Beauty Castle overlay, which will go under tarps near the end of the month to be transformed back to normal- or so is stated anyway.

What a Marvelous Celebration this was and I am so very pleased I was able to be a part of it! Heres to another wonderful 50 Years!

I was glad to have been up there this past February..

I am kinda surprised this wasn't lasting until October.

I wanted to enjoy it when I was there in two weeks.

We went about 5 times during the 50th celebration and loved it every time. I wll be almost sad to see it back to "normal" when we get there in November.

We also went several times during the celebration and loved every second of it. I'll miss it for sure!

It was great, I got to go twice and feel lucky for that. I can picture myself as a little old lady at the 100th, lol. I'll wear my Golden Ears

Re: Goodbye 50th Anniversary

I am happy to report that the castle was still decked out in it's 50th finery this week. I would have been disappointed had it been taken down before I got there. It's so beautiful, I wish they'd keep it up permanently.

I agree. I think the crowns look wonderful. The old colors were just kind of plain. It is going to be hard to see it go back to normal!

I'm so sad that everything will be gone when I'm there next year!
