Our Trip Plans

Well, these are our trip plans for our Mother's Day trip at DLR. All we still have to do is figure out how and when to tell my mom about the 'big' surprise.

Well, we leave on May 12th at around 9:00am and drop off my dog at a 'doggie daycare center' (). We should be at Anaheim at around 11:00 or 11:30am.

We're staying at the Grand Californian , and even for one night, I can't wait! After going to the hotel, we'll go over to Disneyland and have lunch at The Blue Bayou!! After that, we'll ride the attractions, watch shows and parades, etc. and then eat dinner wherever we want.

On May 13th we'll wake up at around 8am and go to the Disneyland Resort for the Mother's Day Brunch Buffet. We'll take our time, then after, go to California Adventure and Disneyland and spend our precious time there. At 5:30pm we'll leave () since there's school the next day, and we'll go get my dog and go home.

Do you all think it's worth staying at the Grand Californian even though it's one night?

Is it worth it? I think I would consider sleeping on the street to spend a night in Disney!

You're gong to have so much fun!

BTW...is school really a good enough excuse to leave Disney? j/k

Maybe you should research each ride and give them an educational reason for the day off in a paper (meaning your parents and teachers). I mean make it an indepentent study project.

Sorry, never been to DL, but if I did it in WDW I would site certian things like the importance of Epcots lands and social tollerance or MGM and modern art culture (movies), or AK and conservation, or MK and recent culural history.

Just an idea

I'm sure the teachers would let me skip a day for vacation (after all, that's what I'm doing next month ), but I'm in some shows at a local theatre and they have 'School Performances', so I'm skipping school a lot already.
