Holiday Trips

I'm going to be in DL in early Dec for a convention, but we've added extra days to play at the parks. I've been to WDW a coupld of times near the holidays and loved how everything was done up... how does DLR compare?

This is the same thing with comparing both DLR and WDW...their both different. They both have wonderful feelings for the holidays.

A Few things that differ from Disneyland that the Magic Kingdom doesnt do/have.
1) Disneyland's Town Square tree is real, the MK's is fake
2) Disneyland shows Believe...In Holiday Magic pretty much every night, as to the MK only shows Holiday Wishes during the Mickey XMas Party.

but their both great and are similar in many ways. Just different, we both have different parks, DLR has more compressed decor since everything is closer so it looks like christmas all around you.

This year Disneyland doesnt have the garland hanging over Main Street again because we are still showing Walt Disney's Parade of Dreams as the day time parade, the floats are to tall during show stops to have the garland hang over Main Street.

Believe...In Holiday Magic firework spectacular is newly remastered this year with a whole new firework sequence because we have all the new launch and pyros from Remember...Dreams Come True.

Their both awesome for the holidays in my opinion and you will enjoy DLR for the holidays!

I haven't done WDW at Christmas, but DLR is beautiful around Christmas! The decorations, the lights, the snow! You guys will have a wonderful time!

I have a few pictures of the decorations if you would like to see them, I wish I had taken more!

anaheimboy, they had the garlands up across main street when we were there just over a week ago. They didn't put them up when they put up the other decorations, they went up last, but they are up.
