How many days?
We are thinking about taking a trip to California next spring break - DLR is our main destination, of course.
![]() How many days do you guys recommend at Disneyland? We will have a week total and want to see a few other California sites, too. |

Re: How many days?
Depends on time of year but I would say at least 4 to 5 days

Re: How many days?
Two and a half days works just right for me, but I only give half a day, if that, to DCA. And since I've been going to Disneyland all of my life, I've developed an excellent touring plan that really works for me.
But with spring break... four days is probably just about right. It'll be a great trip!

Re: How many days?
Three days is enough to do anything and everything once in both parks.
I've done the one day to seven day trips. A two day trip just isn't quite enough for some reason... ![]()

Re: How many days?
Being that I grew up about 20 minutes from DLR...it's sort of difficult for me to judge...but...when I've taken first timers...it seems that at least 4 days is a good place to start. That is if you like to see everything and take your time...especially going during Spring break.

Re: How many days?
Well, I've done varying trips of different lengths, visiting other locations in Cali & Nevada also. The BEST experience I've had is when I've stayed IN Disneyland for 3 nights & had at least 3&1/2 days to do the parks. Especially considering you want to go during Spring Break it DOES get really busy. We've only been in summer so I can relate to those crowds.
My first two visits to DL ever were both one day visits to each park staying OFF property & there was SO much we missed. When I stayed at an actual Disneyland Resort Hotel for 3 nights it was like I was rediscovering the whole place again.

Re: How many days?
I think 4 days is more than enough. Honestly, I think 2 days is enough if you have other things to do in California. You can do California Adventure in one morning and then DL in 1 1/2 days. Of course this depends on crowds.
We went for 4 days and had to do things 2 or 3 times just to keep busy. It was very different than WDW where you have endless places to go and things to see and have little opportunity to get bored. I would suggest seeing many parts of California and explore Reagan's great state. We traveled from Sacramento to LA in 7 days ending at DL.If you need any advice on the places we saw let me know. Here's our trip report. http://www.mousebuzz.com/forum/trip-...adventure.html |
