Grad Nights????
Hi all,
I was just wondering, do the grads come all day or do they just show up at night? We will be there on June 5th and was wondering if the crowds will go up that day! Thanks

Um, grad NIGHTS is just that.. Usually start in the early evening.. just after their afternoon naps..

The parks aren't usually more crowded because of Grad Nights but they might close earlier than at other times. The Grads don't show up until late in the evening...I think the hours for Grad Nights are 11p or midnight to about 6 in the morning. DCA usually hosts a "Kick off" for schools that come from a long distance, starts around 8 or 9pm...then they head over to DL for the rest of the night.

on Grad Nights, if I recall, the parks close at 8pm, the parks arent usually swelled with teens, maybe just a bit if any, not much, I didnt go to Grad Night last year because I was already down at DLR when mine happend. So no worries about crowds.

They've changed a little, but when I went to my Grad Night - we got to the park at about 11:30PM and we had to be back on the buses at 4:45 to go home. The park was completely closed between about 7-8 PM and 11:30 or 12, when the kids arrived, because they had to switch over a lot of the merchandise and get set up for the bands.
Hey, I still have my Grad Night '82 Pooh somewhere
