No Fireworks when we are at DL

I am sooooo sad

I just looked at the calendar for Disneyland and for the 4 days we are there, no fireworks or fantasmic. We will be there from Mon June 2 to Fri. June 6.

I could have dealt with fantasmic, but the fireworks NOOOO. I am really disappointed.

Oh well, at least I am still going and my family needs a happy vacation!

Sorry to hear that. But believe me, there will be lots to do in the four days you are there.

That is so odd that fireworks or fantasmic arent going to be playing during that time, hmm.
But no worries, there are plenty of other things to see and do...parades, shows, etc, you will have fun no matter what!

Maybe in place of the evening fireworks, go see Disney's Electrical Parade...always a crowd pleaser.

ahh, but alas no electrical parade when we are there either.

Oh I know I will have a blast, just a bit disappointed that's all. The fireworks are always one of my absolute favorites.

My thoughts exactly. There has to be something going on. I've never been to Disneyland but four straight days of nothing good like those, it's just wierd! Maybe some kind of changes are being made or something.

I thought it was weird too. I am hoping that the calendar isn't complete, but I think it is. We are going from a mon. to a fri. and that friday they have all parades and fireworks. We leave fri. afternoon, so it looks like I will miss all of these. I thought they use to do the fireworks in the middle of the week the last time we were there. I am really hoping for this!!!

ahhh well, still have Nemo!!!

Unfortunately, I don't believe it has anything to do with anything unusual or special happening during that time. It's just that Disneyland/DCA don't usually have the Fireworks, Parade or Electrical Parade on week days unless it's "high season". Early June is still not considered high season...:( So..they only have them on weekends.

Well, I can live with that, I really don't like super big major crowds, so if I have to give up the fireworks, I will.

I know that was the case when I worked there. Unlike WDW, DL has neighborhoods within close proximity of the park, and the fireworks are very loud. I lived 15 miles away, and I could sometimes hear them at night. So DL's agreement with Anaheim is that they will only have fireworks on weeknights during the summer, when school is out. The school systems there didn't usually get out until after the second week of June, so that's when it goes to daily fireworks.

That is disappointing, but good to know, so when I call to make ADRs for the dessert buffet I don't get shot down by the CM

Well, it saves you a ton of money!!

I will say this, it makes planning a whole lot easier and faster!! Where are you staying snazzy?

Well, that clears it up!!! It makes me feel a little better and that makes a lot of sense. It would be tough hearing fireworks everynight.

Yep...knew this to be the case as well. I can hear the fireworks from my house
