The PDD hit me bad recently, and I can't seem to shake it!

I'm dying to take Alice on her first trip to Disneyland, but now that we are expecting baby #2 it seems prudent to wait a while.

However, that (as always) is not dizzygirl's plan!

I told DH I want to go to Disneyland in November...I will be 8 months pregnant and Ali will be 22 months old. The last time we went to DL, I was just about 8 months pregnant and we had a blast!

I realize it'll be much different with a 22-month-old in tow, aka much more exhausting, but I am still 110% set on it. I have no problem going back to the hotel for a nap, or relaxing my park commando style in order to make this trip happen. As if I needed anymore ammunition...what used to be the Radisson in Anaheim is now switching to a Red Lion (the hotel chain Ryan works for) which means we can get a nice room for DIRT CHEAP! What more incentive do we need, right?

Am I nuts?

yeah, you're nuts. HAHA, but the same can be said about my Disney agenda. That's why we're here... together, to share in our 'nut-ness'. Whatever you guys decide I am sure it will work out for the best. I TOTALLY understand the PDD crazies.

Nope , we went to WDW in 06 and I was pregnant and had a 21 month old, and although some rides were off limits, seeing the first time joy on my dd face was enough for me to have a blast. I mean who doesn't want that for their babies, our little guy that was in utero then will be going to the world for his first trip he can actually enjoy this september. you are right, if you can go cheap why wouldn't you and who can say no to a pregnant woman?

It's like all of a sudden I don't care about the rides I usually want to go on...I just want to take Ali and see her reactions to everything. I was very get-up-and-go the whole time I was pregnant last time, and sitting around "waiting" for the baby just made me stir-crazy. I figure this might be a good way to avoid those third trimester crazies!

No way, having Ali go to Disney is something you'll remember forever and ever..do it now while you can!! In a few months you'll have TWO Ali's..can you handle that?!?!

Well there you go, the third trimester seems long enough, this would totally make it anything but dull! Your dd will love it, and wow your heart will melt every time she gets excited. I do hope it works out for you all to go. Either way savor every moment, these little ones grow super fast!

Thanks, I think this would be a trip to remember forever! Whenever I hear other people talk about taking their kids for the first time, I just can't wait to do it myself!

I am sure it will come down to how I'm feeling closer to November...I have had more nausea this time than I did with Alice, so who knows? Maybe I won't feel up to it later on. But last time I felt nothing but huge and impatient the last couple months, and I needed serious distraction!
