CA Screamin Sunburst

The old Mickey Head circle on the front face of "California Screamin'" where the attractions Loop is has started to get its facelift into the new Paradise Pier Sunburst Logo, the square tiles are currently being replaced/re-painted with a new off-white color, Im guessing this is the primer.

Just thought everyone would like to know!

Its not the Attractions logo, where the Mickey Head use to be where the loop is on the attraction is no more, its just the main Mickey head minus the ears, the Mickey Head circle is being re-painted as a big victorian pier Sunburst and is having new lighting added to it, it will be wicked awesome when done and will look lovely with the new huge Paradise Pier logo added on California' Screamin.

No, the cheap Mickey look is gone. The new Mickey will be on the face of the old "Sun Wheel", the attraction is now known as "Mickey's Fun Wheel" (it opens in April) and will feature the retro 1930's style Pie-Cut eye Mickey Mouse Face where the sun face once was. "Mickey's Fun Wheel" (Its not the "Sun Wheel" anymore) is nearing completion, it has a set date to open in Mid to late April along with the new "Games of the Boardwalk at Paradise Pier".

haha, most of DCA reminds me of the Pressler-Harris era..cheap....its like us CMs say, before now when birds would fly over TDA (Team Disney Anaheim) or DCA they would always chirp "Cheap Cheap Cheap Cheap" (mind you DCA is a nice park but the old DCA will be junk compared to the new version of DCA, just wait and see! hahaha).
