DCL to Homebase in LA

Disney Cruise Line has announced that starting in 2011 it will home base the Disney Wonder from Florida to California's Port of Los Angeles for a 2 year stay with a possible 3 year extension, also to follow will be the possibility of a permanent home for one of the new or old Disney Cruise ships in the near future (it has yet to be decided, it will be decided after the new ships are completed/talks with Port of Los Angeles begin). Disney had also stated it would like to possibly start offering the Land and Sea Vacation options like what is offered in Florida. Pretty fun stuff!

As for the new ships...I was told that one new ship will go to Florida to fill the vacancy of the Wonder and the other new ship will go to Europe for European Cruises/East Coast Cruises.
