Disneyland trip

Well in just 55 short days we will be winging our way to DL! A number of my faithful DCer's will be winging toward WDW. I am thrilled at the prospect of going back to DL for the 3rd time, the last tiem was in 1987 and so much has changed! But on the other hand I am disappointed that I will not be able to make the Meet and Greet in WDW! Anyone having been to DL in the last few years who can suggest any out of the way or little known attractions or events please let me know!:) :) :)

I will send you any updates I can. We last went two years ago, and had a blast! Where are you staying? How many days will you be there?

Last time I went before my family got up (the first day of the trip I always get up early --too excited I guess!) and DL had early entry. I got to go in the parks at 630am (we are on central time, so it was really 830 for me!)--Matt it was fabulous! I rode 5 or 6 rides in one hour! Matterhorn twice!

Also, Indiana Jones ride is fantastic! My family could not get enough of it.

If you get a chance, do the dessert buffet for Fantasmic. We did this a few years ago and it ranks as one of my top 5 Disney moments ever!! They totally spoil you.

When we did it it was not very well known, but since it's now mentioned in Birnbaums I imagine the 18 seats sell out really quickly.

Reservations are made at the Guest Relations window and it is pretty pricey ($41/person), but you get unlimited servings of coffee, tea, pastries, fruit, desserts, etc. and a great seat for Fantasmic.

Have a gret trip!! And say hi to my brick...

I just called and got the buffet --they were sold out of the balcony seats, but had "perferred seating" are with a buffet--I know it is not the same, but will be special I think.:)

We are going to be there for 6 days, well 4 if you don't count arrival and day we leave. How far in advance can you book the preferred seating for Fantasmic?

Sorry I missed this before.

I have not actually visited my brick yet. A guy who works in my building took the picture for me last year. He said it was pretty easy to find. The code ( C28 454 ) is how you are supposed to locate it. So if you get a chance say hi to it for me. :)
