Travel Channel

I watched the Travel Channel specials last night on Disney. It included a special on the DisneySea Tokyo.

What a neat looking place. I wish it were closer to the US. Each "land" is an exact replica of the sea port city it is depicting. Wow, what a chance to travel and not be gone so long!

Maybe Disney will bring something like it here to the US.

There were in fact plans to build a DisneySea park at Long Beach, near Disneyland, about 10 years ago. However, Long Beach DisneySea, along with WestCOT, sadly fell through and never was built!

Jim Hill Media.com has a couple of articles about Long Beach DisneySea. Here are links to these articles:

Enjoy!
