Hi Everyone,

We just got our paperwork for our SSR DVC monthly payments. I am sure many of you are getting this too. I can't understand how they figured ours out. We have 300 points and at $3.80 per point we would owe $95 per month. They figure that starting in July we owe $108 per month???

I am going to call tomorrow but I just wanted to know if anyone else is having trouble figuring out their monthly dues bill??

We pay ours annually, so this is just a guess. I would guess that your use month is probably February or so, and you have 8 months of payments to make this year, but since your paperwork didn't quite line up, and there are only 7 pay periods until your use year arrives, you have to pay a little more each month. When I do the math, if your number is right, I come up with something like $108.51 per month you would owe, hence the guess.

Let me know how close I am.

OK - spoke to DVC.

It actually states on my bill that it is prorated for 208 days. I think that is because we closed June 1st. Like all mortgages they skip that months payment and start on the next month. In my case it is July 15th. So the extra $$ is the extra days interest.

While I can figure out why it is 208 days instaed of 214, I am happy with the answer.
