Health Clubs at DVC Resorts
Does anyone know if the charge a DVC member to use the basic gym (not the SPA) at one of the DVC resorts? If so
 how much??

I didn't know they charged to use the gym's when you stay at a resort. I thought they were an amenitity. I have read countless guide books and have never heard a gym fee. You should call and just ask. Sorry I don't have any more information on it.

There is no charge for a DVC member to use the health club at the resort they are staying at. It is also my understanding that Disney waived the fee for anyone staying at a deluxe resort, they can now also use the health clubs for free during their stay.

DVC MEMBERS CAN USE THE GYMS AT DVC RESORTS FOR FREE. HOWEVER, THERE IS A DAILY CHARGE FOR NON-MEMBERS AT DVC RESORTS. I THINK IT'S $10 PER DAY, WITH UNLIMITED VISITS. AT VWL, THEY WERE VERY STRICT ABOUT THE POLICY, PUTTING A SPECIAL MARK ON OUR ROOM KEYS. IF YOU ARE WITH A MEMBER, THE ROOM KEY SHOULD SAY DVC MEMBER, IF NOT YOU WILL BE CHARGED.

DVC members use the gym facilities at no cost, free, zippo.
Just one word of advise. My 14-year old, who is a football player, went to work out. They said he had to be with an adult, so I had to go over with him. Looks like you have to be at least 18-years old to work out alone. |
